A.K.A - Abstract Black Art
Father | Husband | Animator
Welcome.
I am a 30-something year dad and husband who loves nothing more than getting lost in the world of animation and digital art. After earning my degree in Animation & 3D Modeling from CSUN, I faced the tough reality of starting my career during the COVID pandemic. But hey, things worked out—I landed an internship at NALIP, where I fell head over heels for After Effects, C4D, and all those creative tools we can’t live without. Since then, I've been juggling freelance projects, worked in tv production, experienced layoffs, and welcomed our little one into the world. Let's be real, this path hasn't been a walk in the park, but my love for art has only grown stronger, helping me become the artist I am today.

After Effects Plugin Knowledge and Skills

- After Effects new native 3D Model importer is getting better with each update, but still leaves a lot to be desired. Element 3D fills in the gaps!
- Newton 4 is a physics simulation engine built for AE! It has a lot of simple features that can be expanded upon in deep and interesting ways.
- Stardust is a particle simulation that far surpasses the built in particle world fx in AE. Some would even say it rivals Maxon's "Red Giant".
